Audrey G., LMT

Audrey uses a combination of bodywork and education to help her clients achieve profound healing and improve their overall well-being. Understanding how our bodies work, how we respond to stress and trauma, and how we adapt to the demands of our daily lives and activities allows Audrey and her clients to identify the most effective techniques and treatment plan to get long-lasting results. Often, a problem’s origin is in an area or from a time that we had assumed was unrelated, so approaching every case from a holistic perspective is vital to true healing. Sometimes, it’s just a crick in your neck from sleeping in a weird position.

Audrey completed programs at the Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy in 2007 and at Miami’s Educating Hands School of Massage in 2011. In 2013, Audrey accepted the position of massage therapist at the University of Miami Wellness Center, supporting the health and well-being of the UM community until moving to Denver in 2017.

Audrey specializes in John Barnes Myofascial Release- a safe and very effective hands-on therapy that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into fascial restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion. She has also completed advanced courses in Myofascial Unwinding and Rebounding. Audrey also practices Craniosacral Therapy- a gentle, hands-on approach that releases tension deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance. Other modalities that Audrey incorporates into her sessions are Reiki, Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Techniques, Sports, Thai, and Swedish Massage as well as postural and body mechanic assessments.

Samantha S., LMT

Samantha has been a LMT since 2011 and I am excited to start a new part of her journey at Peace of Mind! She graduated from the Denver School of Massage Therapy in 2011. She has been trained in many modalities, and she enjoys providing a variety of techniques within her sessions. Her main priority throughout your massage is your comfort. She strives to meet the requests and needs of all of her clients.
In a majority of sessions, she does her best to maintain balance in between deeper techniques and flowing strokes. Clients often enjoy her methods of working out knots and tension, while still providing relaxing stress relief. This may often be referred to as a firm Swedish massage. However, she enjoys providing Deep Tissue,Trigger Point Therapy, Sports Massage, Hot Stone and Prenatal. She can, and will, adjust upon your request and from the responses she gets from your muscles. She also enjoys incorporating reflexology, basic cranial and aromatherapy!
It’s important to consider massage therapy as part of your regular health routine. Regardless of old injuries or chronic holding patterns, every individual will greatly benefit from a massage, at minimum of every three weeks. The purpose of this is to combat the stresses of everyday life and routines. Often, we find ourselves with injuries or muscle stiffness that can cause us to be uncomfortable, limiting our movements or even cause pain. During sessions with Samantha, you can discuss any ailments or concerns that you have together. Afterwards, she will make recommendations and a plan for getting you back to a healthy, comfortable place.
She believes consistency is key. Her methods can cater to those seeking pure relaxation, as well as those who require a more focused therapeutic session.
“Together, we will get your body moving in the right direction.” – Samatha

Sara Michelle W., LMT

Sara completed her massage training at The Center for Massage and Natural Health in Asheville, NC in 2010. She moved to Austin, TX shortly after and spent 5 years at a deep tissue specialty studio where she honed her skills in Trigger Point, Myofascial Release and Sports Massage with Firm Swedish as a base. She is of the opinion that stimulating blood flow is a vital factor of healing and aims to increase circulation especially in areas of tension and pain. Sara likes to use a form of cupping to aid in this process and help release tight muscles and fascia. She also also received certification in Bodywork for the Childbearing Year and welcomes mamas! Communicating with clients and tailoring the session to their needs, comfort level and expectations is of the utmost importance to her. She firmly believes in the value of relaxation and if areas of pain are requested to be worked, she aims to tailor her sessions to have a balance of detail work and letting go. Having a special interest in nutrition, she also enjoys reading, hiking, and walking her dog, Nala. She is excited to be apart of the Peace of Mind Community and looks forward to serving.

Dana R., LMT, RYT

Dana Ripley is a Colorado native, passionate about exploring the mind-body-soul relationship in order to encourage and facilitate healing to herself and everyone she encounters. She graduated from Colorado School of Healing Arts in 2014, only to dive deeper into her relationship with the healing arts through a yoga teaching program at Samadhi Center for Yoga and Mediation. She earned her teaching certificate in 2015 while privately pursuing studies in yoga nidra, polarity therapy, hypnosis and past life regression, shamanic journeying, sound healing, and sensory deprivation. She believes that transformational and sustainable healing must occur on all levels of body, mind, and soul, so she utilizes techniques from all of these practices to tailor every session to the specific needs and goals of the individual. Your healing process is just as unique and unfathomably perfect as your essence, so this process manifests differently for each of us. Only you can know which modalities and techniques resonate with you and your path, but Dana is excited to help you to get acquainted with your inner healer and discover what truly does work for you. She is happy to offer swedish, deep tissue, neuromuscular and myofascial manipulation, sports massage, muscle energy techniques, as well as hands off energy work and is eager to share any and all self care tips she has learned along the way.

Maci S., LMT

Maci began her journey in the realm of healing therapies in July 2015. She always knew she would build her life around the service of others, but she had no idea that her hands had the capacity to heal. As soon as Maci stepped into the community of healers at Colorado School of the Healing Arts, her curiosity about massage turned from an optional career path to a passion-filled, existence changing lifestyle.  After devoting over a year to the completion of CSHA’s accredited program, Maci began practice at a studio in Golden that allowed her the resources for continuing education classes. With over two years of experience and continual education under her belt, Maci is trained in deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports techniques, prenatal, aromatherapy, Swedish, Thai on the table, structural energy work, and reflexology. Her technique usually ensues slow, intentional strokes working with individual muscle fibers to create space for relaxation in the body. Maci has a devotion to her clients that prompts her to make the most healing experience out of every session.
