About Peace of Mind

Our goal at Peace of Mind is to provide the best massage experience for our customers, clients, and friends in the (Denver, Colorado!) community we love. We aim to bring our clients out of their heads and into their bodies where they can experience the positive effects Massage Therapy has to offer for both the body and the spirit.

We achieve our goals by being very selective in who we choose to bring onto our team. We encourage growth, providing training through what we call “Community Skill Shares” on a monthly basis. These skill shares give our team an opportunity to come together and share their skills, learning and growing from one another. It is also a job requirement to take continuing education courses outside of the business, and that is how our modalities/services offered is so extensive.

Peace of Mind Massage Manifesto

We love being in the business of helping people by improving their health and well being through hands on therapy.

We believe in the incredible healing power of human touch when done with compassion, intention, professionalism, and skill.

We are committed to never stop growing and expanding our skills as Massage Therapists, and to continue to enhance the over all experience from the moment a customer schedules or inquires about an appointment with one of our friendly front desk staff.

Our History

Peace of Mind was founded in 2009 by Nicole “Elena” Davis, a Licensed and Nationally Certified Massage Therapist from Florida. Elena opened her private practice in Denver, Colorado in a basement office on Old South Pearl Street. With her blend of Neuromuscular Therapy and Sports Massage, she became sought after by Denver’s community of health enthusiasts. As the business grew, Elena moved into a bigger office on the same street and began hiring on additional Massage Therapists to meet the needs of the clientele.

Elena found great joy in bringing her unique sense of style into the design of the environment of the space, and infusing it with her spirituality which would come to be foundational in Peace of Mind’s brand. Take notice of our logo; the Hamsa is a ancient symbol meant to dispel negative energy. The peacock feather has been used for healing for tens of thousands of years in every culture through out history and has many symbolic meanings such as compassion, love, and peace. The lotus flower blossoms out of the mud, representing spiritual awakening and purity. Then we threw the Colorado logo and peace sign in there just because we love bringing peace to our community!

In 2011 Elena acquired the Victorian home we now reside in, on the 1200 block of South Pearl Street and transformed it into her dream wellness center. She treated each room as if it was a temple to the Deity she named the rooms after. Visit our location page for the details of each room, or better yet, make it your goal to get a treatment in each one when you come in!

The people who continue to come into Peace of Mind, clients and employees alike, are effected by the powerful healing energy the space emits, and our goal is to continue to be a sacred place of peace for the community for years to come.
