About the hosts:

Ela and Elena will bring you through the powerful movement of Shakti energy.

Elena & Ela will bring you through the powerful movement of Shakti energy.

Ela Marea started her career in Human Rights NGOs and returned after a year of field-work in Colombia when she decided to become a Pilates teacher. That is when yoga manifested in her life, blessing her with the gift of meditation, Tantra, and the opportunity to open herself to her real purpose and vocation through the teachings of her many masters.

In 2014, Ela founded her yoga and Pilates studio YogAmare in Geneva, Switzerland. She currently spends most of her time between Bali and Koh Phan Ghan.

Elena Rose Davis is a certified Sattva Yoga Instructor, Licensed Massage Therapist, actor, writer and entrepreneur with over 12 years in the bodywork field. She teaches her yoga journeys with passion, love, strength and authenticity.

After many years of practicing yoga, she’s found Sattva Yoga to be the most powerful and well-rounded practice she’s been exposed to because of its visceral effects on all layers — physical, mental, emotional and energetic.

Her mission is to empower women and men to heal, expand, and transform through practices that activate and celebrate Shakti — the divine feminine.

Both Elena and Ela are committed on the spiritual path and love to share the teachings that have helped them with others who are also seeking more healing, liberation, inner peace, and joy in their lives.

The goal of the eco retreat center in Amed Beach, Bali, is to tread as lightly as possible on Mother Nature. With that said, expect an experience that fully respects the  island.

From the building materials to the food grown at this exclusive Eco Retreat Center, a protective eco-philosophy creates an experience that connects visitors to the land.

A few of the measures taken guests may appreciate:

Buildings

Enjoy the beautiful architecture of this eco-friendly retreat.

Enjoy the beautiful architecture of this eco-friendly retreat.

  • Buildings follow the natural lay of the land, and are influenced by traditional Balinese design principles. Only local Neem wood or reclaimed hardwood for posts and roof structures was used.
  • Floors use locally handmade cement and terracotta tiles, locally-sourced marble and reclaimed ship-wood planks.
  • Walls are made from local volcanic stone laid on mud bricks and mud plaster
  • 90% of doors and windows are reclaimed from old buildings in the area
  • Hand-crafted furniture from repurposed wood and other up-cycled materials
  • Bathrooms feature rain showers and water-saving toilets
